Cost:
 - Commuter: $450 - $100 due on registration, remainder due May 1
 - Residential: $500 - $100 due on registration, remainder due May 1

(An online convenience fee will be added upon registration)

CAMP DETAILS
Camp Overview: The Academy is for boys ages 10-Rising 8th Grade. The camp is designed for the competitive youth player. The curriculum will provide an accelerated series of training sessions that will enhance the player’s proficiency in technique and tactics. Players will also be challenged through the combination of small-sided and 11v11 matches. Goalkeeper specific training will also be included before joining field players in training and matches for game simulation.

Player and camp team assignments will be done one week prior to camp. Camp teams will be assigned by age, and there will be no more than 15 or 16 campers per team.

The Elite camp is also open to club teams. We require that 12 field players from your team sign-up to train together.

Insurance:

The parent or guardian must provide primary insurance for the camper.

Medical Forms:

All required forms are filled out in registration process, but the Medical Form.

Please print, complete, and email the Medical Form to info@uncsoccercamp.com before the start camp.

 

Medical Staff:

UNC Soccer Camp will have two NATA certified athletic trainers at the field sessions. Both trainers will also reside at Granville Towers East and an athletic training room will be available for campers.

Safety & Supervision:

The campers are supervised 24 hours a day during all field sessions and while in the dorm. The camp staff will reside on each of the dormitory floors and dorm security on site.

Housing, Hydration & Meals: All campers will reside and dine in on-campus dorms. The rooms are air-conditioned.

There will be Gatorade and water available at all sessions and in the dorm. Ice is available as well.

Meals are all-you-can-eat. On day one campers will be served dinner only. Campers will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on day two. On the last day campers will be served breakfast.

Pizza will be available after evening matches.

UNC Soccer Camp attracts competitive players eager to compete, learn, and have fun. Due to the physical demands and competitive spirit of camp in summer heat, we will encourage kids during time away from the field to rest, recover, and hydrate so they can be ready to participate for the next session as well as the entire camp. Recreational activities during the breaks will not be facilitated or encouraged.

Staffer To Camper Ratio: We will have excellent staff to camper ratio of 1 adult to 8 campers. The maximum team ratio of 1 coach to 16 campers provides the quality individual time along with functional team cohesiveness for training sessions and evening matches.

Team Assignments:

Camp team assignments will be done one week prior to camp. Camp teams will be assigned by age, and there will be no more than 15 or 16 campers per team.

Group & Team Training:

If you would like to train as a team we require that 12 campers from your team sign-up.

Roommate Preferences:

Requests and/or near requests will be honored. There will be two campers per room. Both campers must request each other. If you come as a group of more than two you can be placed in the same suite. If the camper does not request a roommate, we will assign a roommate of the same age.

Training Facilities:

UNC just underwent a huge facility project that gives access to multiple grass and turf fields as needed. As your specific camp approaches, we will designate which facility with an address and details. The first choice will be grass fields where UNC Men’s Soccer practices. Refund & Cancellation Policy: Please contact us at info@uncsoccercamp.com if you would like to cancel your registration. See below for all details.

There’s a $100 non-refundable registration fee

  • Cancellation within 14 days of start of camp: All fees refunded except $150.
  • Cancellation within 7 days of start of camp: 50% of Total Camp Fee
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of start of camp: No refund

Please also note that the online convenience fee is non-refundable.
