2020 UNC Soccer Camps Update
UNC Soccer Camps COVID-19 Information -
Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our participants, coaches, and all involved.  We are currently still taking registrations for our 2020 Summer Programs via the Waitlist Option.
Please register for our waitlist with no payment due at the time of registration to hold your spot for this summer. Payment will be due closer to the date of the camp.

Cost: $655 - $100 due when registering, remainder due on May 1

CAMP DETAILS
Camp Overview:

The College ID camps is for players who will be in grades 9-12. The camps are designed for the player who seeks a high level training environment and collegiate exposure. Players will benefit from a seminar to understand college admission, NCAA rules, and the recruiting process as well as the daily schedule of a student-athlete. Our curriculum will be designed towards competitive technical and tactical training sessions. In addition to collegiate level training sessions, players will also compete in small-sided and 11v11 matches. Our staff will be comprised of coaches from all collegiate division as well as youth international level coaches. Goalkeeper specific training will also be included before joining field players in training and matches for game simulation.

Player and camp team assignments will be done one week prior to camp. Camp teams will be assigned by age, and there will be no more than 15 or 16 campers per team.

The College Id camp is also open to club teams. We require that 13 field players from your team sign-up to train together.

Each player will receive a written evaluation at end of camp.

Insurance:

The parent or guardian must provide primary insurance for the camper.

Medical Forms:

Campers will not be able to participate without the mandatory Parental Consent Form (electronically signed when registering), Release Form and NCAA Compliance Attestation, and Medical Form.

Medical Staff:

UNC Soccer Camp will have two NATA certified athletic trainers at the field sessions. Both trainers will also reside at Granville Towers and an athletic training room will be available for campers.

Safety & Supervision:

The campers are supervised 24 hours a day during all field sessions and while in the dorm. The camp staff will reside at Granville Towers on each of the dormitory floors. The Granville Towers building is supervised by security 24 hours a day.

Housing, Hydration & Meals:

UNC just underwent a huge facility project that gives access to multiple grass and turf fields as needed. As your specific camp approaches, we will designate which facility with an address and details.

In addition, we will send out your specific dorm name and address when confirmed by UNC housing as dorms can change throughout summer offerings.

There will be Gatorade and water available at all sessions and in the dorm. Ice is available as well.

Meals are all-you-can-eat. On day one campers will be served dinner only. Campers will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner on days two and three. On the last day campers will be served breakfast.

Pizza will be available after evening matches.

UNC Soccer Camp attracts competitive players eager to compete, learn, and have fun. Due to the physical demands and competitive spirit of camp in summer heat, we will encourage kids during time away from the field to rest, recover, and hydrate so they can be ready to participate for the next session as well as the entire camp. Recreational activities during the breaks will not be facilitated or encouraged.

Staffer To Camper Ratio: We will have excellent staff to camper ratio of 1 adult to 8 campers. The maximum team ratio of 1 coach to 16 campers provides the quality individual time along with functional team cohesiveness for training sessions and evening matches.

Team Assignments:

Group & Team Training:

If you would like to train as a team we require that 12 campers from your team sign-up.

Roommate Preferences:

Requests and/or near requests will be honored. There will be two campers per room. Both campers must request each other. We have limited triples available, and requests will be honored on a first-come-first-serve basis. If the camper does not request a roommate, we will assign a roommate of the same age.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

Please contact us at info@uncsoccercamp.com if you would like to cancel your registration. See below for all details.

There’s a $100 non-refundable registration fee

  • Cancellation within 14 days of start of camp: All fees refunded except $150.
  • Cancellation within 7 days of start of camp: 50% of Total Camp Fee
  • Cancellation within 48 hours of start of camp: No refund

Please also note that the online convenience fee is non-refundable.

Application deposits and fees are non-transferable.

Transportation:

Need airport transportation? Please select the airport shuttle option when registering for the College ID Program.

We will provide an airport transportation service for our summer College ID camps only. The shuttle service will pick up campers from Raleigh Durham International (RDU) airport, which is 15 minutes from campus. Please email info@uncsoccercamp.com with any questions.

The best time to plan arrival would be between 10am and 11:45am on check-in day.

The best time to plan departure would be between 2:30pm and 5:00pm on check-out day.

Upon arrival, you should go directly to baggage claim. Once you collect your bag, please go directly to the exact location given to you by our staff. Detailed pick up location will be emailed to you prior to camp.

DELINEATION OF RESPONSIBILITY: It is understood that, upon arrival, campers will be under the control and responsibility of his parent/guardian until he is in the UNC Soccer Camp van. It is also understood that, upon departure, campers will again be under the control and responsibility of his parent/guardian once he has exited the van curbside at his terminal. In the event the arriving flight is delayed or missed, please call 919-710-0320 number to inform us of your itinerary change.
